The first CF Tennis Junior Series Tournament took place Friday 16^th October 2009. With a strong turnout of participants showing up the tournament got underway at 8.30am with the Under 10s kicking off first, followed by the Under 12s, then the Under 14s. All players had to fight their way through the early group stages before qualifying for the knockout rounds. With a Del Monte stand set up next to the tournament organiser area the players enjoyed some fresh orange, lemonade and a selection of fruit slices. Each player was earning their ranking points for every match played plus more for the win, all going towards the official ranking system at CFTennis. The eventual winners of each age group will head the ranking list for the next tournament.
